The 7 habits that will make you a highly effective person (animated)

If you’ve read any of our contributors’ previous articles on life changing books (here or here), you likely saw a book mentioned several times. That book is “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Powerful Lessons in Personal Change” by Stephen R. Covey, and it is heralded as a one-stop shop for problem solving -both personally and professionally.

I read this book about a year ago and found it to be a great framework for people who feel like they are stuck at a certain point in their life.

In the book, Covey presents his 7 habits for change.

HABIT 1: Be Proactive
HABIT 2: Begin With The End In Mind
HABIT 3: Put First Things First
HABIT 4: Think Win-Win
HABIT 5: Seek First to Understand, Then To Be Understood
HABIT 6: Synergize
HABIT 7: Sharpen The Saw

Don’t have time to read the book in full? Take 7 minutes and watch the animated summary below. It is no substitute for the whole experience but is a good reference of the essential traits to help get you out of a slump and onward to chasing greatness.
